About Us

This Climate Finance Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (CFMRV) system is to collect funding information of climate actions from all ministry sectors and to be made sure that most or key climate finance flows coming into the country, including from donors and through NGOs and other actors, can be tracked.

Design and Development of Climate Finance MRV System

This Climate Finance MRV System is designed and developed based on:

  • Consultation of National Designed Authority (NDA), MONRE.
  • Consultation of line ministries: Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance,Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ministry of Public Work and Transportation.
  • Guideline from International Climate Finance MRV expert.

This MRV is supported by Food and Agriculture Organisation(FAO) in Lao PDR
